Smoking and/or drinking is not allowed on any of our vehicles for the health and safety of our passengers, and staff.
Do your routes cover all of the famous attractions?
Of course! On our cruises you'll see everything there is to see in the harbor, including the Statue of Liberty, The Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Skyline, and Ellis Island, among others. Each tour is led by a native and experienced guide for an informative and fun experience.
How long are your tours?
Each cruise is approximately 90 minutes long.

Does the Liberty Cruise dock at Liberty Island so that we can walk to the Statue of Liberty?
No, our Liberty Cruise does not dock on the actual island, however, our route passes right in front of the island, close enough for you to take the best pictures.
How do I get to the Liberty Cruise?
Our Liberty Cruise departs from World Financial Terminal at Battery Park City (Vesey St. and North End Ave.) Walking directions from Downtown Stop 13: Head south on West St toward Tribeca Bridge, Turn right onto Chambers St, Turn left onto North End Ave, Turn right onto Vesey St, Turn left onto Battery Park City Esplanade.
Can I purchase tickets directly from the terminal? Is the price different from the online price?
Yes, you can purchase tickets directly at World Financial Terminal at Battery Park City (Vesey St. and North End Ave.). The price will be higher than our online specials.
Do I get discounts if I purchase the tickets online?
Yes, you can save up to 50% if you book your ticket in advance online on our website.
How far ahead should I make arrangements?
It is never too early to organize your trip so we encourage you to book early. Whether you book your tickets a year in advance or buy the same day, your ticket validity time starts from the moment you print your physical ticket.
What forms of payment does WaterTours accept?
If you book online, we are able to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, and PayPal. If you come to our visitor’s centers, or wish to purchase your tickets from our uniformed street agents, you will be able to use cash, travelers checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX.
What should I do if I don't receive my confirmation email after making an online purchase?
After your complete your online purchase you will be redirected to a confirmation page with your voucher number on it. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please print this confirmation page, or just call our local number when you arrive in NYC, and we will find your reservation based on the last four digits of your credit card. After that you can redeem your tickets at any of our Visitor Center locations or from a uniformed ticket agent.
Are tour tickets purchased from your website refundable?
No, tickets purchased online for our tours are non-refundable. However, our tickets can be used up to two years after the date of purchase.
Are tickets required for children?
Child tickets are available for kids aged 4-12. Children aged 3 years and under may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

What is a charter and how much do they cost?
A temporary lease of our vehicle and driver is called a Charter. This is when a group wants to take a customized trip with their own tour guide. Chartering is generally a very economical way to travel as a group. Charter prices depend on the route, the group size, as well as the date and time requested.
